I know that I'm not the best at drawing cellos, but the reference I was working from was rather small. Either way, if that is anything dramatically out of place, some C&C wouldn't hurt

Love it, and love the lack of stereotypical christmas cliches.

In terms of the Cello, i'd say the neck is short, but thats the only thing that really sticks out to me. Love the colors and textures and mysterious feeling. Very secksy outfit too. RAWR.

Now I want to go re-read The Divine Comedy D:

Oh man, I am in love with the colors. The marble texture is really nice, too~

(Cellos do have longer necks, and two sets of tuning pins on the scroll top part. And the bow looks like it's missing the hair. But that's about it! I still read it as a cello, anyway. :D)

As someone who plays the cello (as a hobby, but still :p), I'd say you did a pretty good job. I've certainly seen a lot worse renditions! As has been aforementioned, the neck is a bit too short, and the fingerboard (which is usually black on most instruments, but I've seen colored or plain wood grain as well) should extend over the instrument body. And the bow has stretched horse hair that's drawn over the strings that should be separate from the bow stick (if that made sense? I'm not very good at explaining).
Anyway, wonderful picture!

Good point about the horsehair - reminds me that I should do more research in addition to just using references -_-
Thank you for the indepth critique though - it will help a lot in the future if I draw more cellos :D
